Associate Director of the Annual Fund, Stewardship

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate Director of the Annual Fund (Associate Director) for the Montana State University Alumni Foundation (Alumni Foundation) works with and reports directly to the Senior Director of the Annual Fund. The Associate Director works closely with the Annual Fund team in the strategic development of a multi-channel, donor-centric annual fund program, which includes two donor-societies, e-mail communications, and collaboration with several Alumni Foundation departments, including members of the front-line fundraising team and the engagement team. This position requires high collaboration, motivation, and skill in creating and executing compelling annual giving strategies. The Associate Director will be deeply involved in the growth and expansion of the Alumni Foundation's donor base to achieve shared annual fund goals.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the growth, promotion, implementation and stewardship of the President's Circle donor society of 500+ supporters, which includes program management, donor management and collaboration with development officers.
- Manage the growth, promotion, implementation and stewardship of the Blue and Gold Forever donor-giving society, which includes program management, donor management and collaboration with development officers.
- Work effectively across Alumni Foundation departments to coordinate charitable giving through established outreach events and programs, which includes serving as primary contact for the annual Engagement calendar.
- Coordinate with the Alumni Foundation Engagement Center as lead contact for content management, data analysis, and weekly reporting.
- Work with the Data & Information Services and Communications teams to manage additional data streams and donor programs, including the EZ Engage donor renewal/acquisition program.
- Form collaborative partnerships with academic unit development leaders and the campus community.
- Adhere to all Alumni Foundation policies and procedures in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Affect and maintain a professional, proactive, positive, highly collaborative, and performance-centric work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be technically competent and comfortable using a variety of software applications, including MS Office and data management systems.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including development officers, faculty and staff, and other key stakeholders.
- Exceptionally high level of customer service skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical ability, and time management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a track record in fundraising and/or marketing, preferably within a university setting.
- Experience working with large data sets, digital engagement, and fundraising.
- Eager to play an important role on the annual giving team and to be a part of a mission-driven fundraising operation.
- Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with various individuals.
- Ability to work with a high integrity and complete respect for confidentiality.
