Job Description:

Responsible for developing business process flows, requirements, and functional designs for system projects and initiatives. Works with business and technology stakeholders to define optimal solutions to business problems; convenes meetings, solicits ideas, weighs and prioritizes requirements. Analyzes systems and processes to propose innovative solutions that align with organizational objectives. When applicable, develops stakeholder communications, progress reports, presentations; leads user acceptance testing and facilitates software implementation. The position identifies opportunities to optimize IIE's processes and systems; manages the rationalization of institutional software solutions on an ongoing basis.

The Institute of International Education ("IIE") has a hybrid work environment that allows team members a combination of in-office work and telework at any of the locations listed above.

Essential Functions:
Works collaboratively with business stakeholders, software engineers, testers, project managers and architects
Interpret business rules, requirements, and processes to ensure proper documentation and guidance is provided
Ensures business and functional requirements are understood, agreed to, documented and can be traced to measurable project success criteria
Analyzes a variety of factors and exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Identifies needed test data and develops acceptance criteria that ensure expected functionality and features are validated during development sprints
Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously; handles demands of deadlines and competing priorities

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related work experience, or combination education and experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of application development and process improvement lifecycles
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in dynamic, cross-functional teams
Excellent time-management skills with proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Skilled use of MS Office products (Visio, Excel) and project management software

Salary Range: $63,299 - $80,945. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
