What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will help drive Process Development (PD)to be a more effective, efficient, and valuable organization. The BSi group ows financial, resource, and performance analysis and insights, budget management, efficiency and operational excellence, PD DI&B, and operational strategy for Process Development.
  • Manage and lead complex, cross-functional team responsible for driving Continuous Improvement through Process Development Excellence framework in PD, in alignment with the Operation's network
  • Partner with PD Functions, Operations Functional Transformation Office, and Operations Finance on key functional and corporate initiatives
  • Collaborate and connect with finance and PD functions in crafting and identifying annual Productivity waterfall and target
  • Facilitate Productivity Ideation workshops to collect, prioritize, and implement productivity improvements in PD
  • Manage quarterly Productivity realization, prioritization and reporting though operations productivity leads network
  • Build Operational Excellence capabilities across PD through training, project mentoring, continuous improvement tools, and events such as 5S assessment and Kaizen, utilizing boots on the ground and digitalization approaches
  • Manage a multiple projects simultaneously while consistently delivering high quality results
  • Conduct project scoping and chartering, define the vision, and guide project completion
  • Collaborate with functional resource and budget owners to effectively allocate and prioritize resources
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance in business and financial analysis, business value capture
  • You will network and build relationships to identify business requirements and potential opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree in engineering, science or business management and 2 years of related experience in life science industry

OR

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or business management and 4 years of related experience in life science industry

OR

Associate's degree in engineering, science or business management and 8 years of related experience in life science industry

OR

High school diploma / GED in engineering, science or business management and 10 years of related experience in life science industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills including financial analysis, cost accounting, and product lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated understanding of Operational Excellence, including Lean and Six Sigma
  • Demonstrated understanding of drug development across modality and function
  • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing, supply chain fundamentals and risk management
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally
  • A good eye for business, high-level critical thinking and strong analytical abilities
  • Structure, pragmatically scope, and solve abstract and complex problems
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive decisions
  • Leadership skills, organizational and project management experience
