Marmoset is seeking a Creative Partnerships Manager

This position is responsible for the growth and success of Marmoset's new subscription music licensing product, Track Club, growing our influencer client base, our new affiliate program, and ultimately driving sales. The Creative Partnerships Manager's primary role is new business development in the influencer marketplace. Think Youtubers, Tik Tok-ers, Instagrammers, Podcasters, celebrities (internet famous) and virtually any content creators with a following. You will be focused on research, list building, high volume outreach, follow-up, tracking and reporting -- ultimately building long term relationships for the brand and community. Let's be clear: the majority of the work is heavy email outreach, phone calls and Zooms, requiring thick skin, short memory, maximum persistence, and off the charts hustle. This is a distributed (remote) role, ideally based in the Portland, Oregon area.


Basics: The ideal candidate is a super connector, a self-starter, intrinsically motivated, works well independently with little supervision and has amazing people skills.

Personality: You're a people person, driven by creating and growing relationships. A self-starter with a contagious can-do attitude. You welcome criticism, often seek feedback and you embrace accountability. You're quick to ask for help and also to offer help. You love a good balance of putting your head down to complete solo work and jumping on a phone call or Zoom to meet with clients. Driven by results and purpose.

Abilities: Exceptional at relationships and sales. You're a closer. Confident at public speaking, presenting and pitching. Strong, assertive communication. Excellent at research and impeccable writing skills. You embrace frequent reporting and accountability. You're a team player, motivated by helping everyone win.

Experience: 2-4 years of similar experience in influencer business development and affiliate marketing, with references and results to back it up, is preferred. Experience working with a CRM is great, too.
