Job purpose |
The Development Associate is responsible for all administrative aspects of development and donor cultivation activities. This position support AFJ's leadership in fundraising, donor cultivation, and administration activities aligned with its mission and strategic plan.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work |
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Currently a hybrid office/remote with staff expected to be on site (If based in Washington, D.C.) two days a week.

Compensation |
This is a union position covered under the terms of a collective bargaining agreement with the Washington-Baltimore News Guild, CWA Local 32035, which includes salary minimums based on job position category. This position is in Group 1 with a salary minimum of $50,000.
