cost. Such improvements are a major strategic directive for both EZflow and Presby operations and will be a focus
of this position, a focus that will include innovations in manufacturing equipment, automation, and materials of
construction. Additionally, IWT strives to be safe in all we do and will continually improve performance in this area.



Responsibilities

This position will be responsible to oversee manufacturing operations for EZflow and Presby
Environmental, two wholly owned subsidiaries of Infiltrator Water Technologies. EZflow operations
consist of six manufacturing facilities strategically located across the county; five currently operational
with the sixth under construction in Winchester, KY targeting a March21 start of production. Presby
Environmental operates within a single facility located in Whitefield, NH.

This position will monitor and report on daily / monthly production as well as recognize and
recommend appropriate guidance to respond to market changes. This leader must foster an
environment of continuous improvement in safety, quality, capacity, automation and efficiency. He,
or she, will be responsible for develop annual budgets and creating goals and objectives to
successfully manage within those budgets.


Position reports to the V.P. of Manufacturing

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and manage to achieve targeted improvements in Safety, Quality, Automation,
    Efficiency and Capacity.
  • Provide strategic leadership for development and implementation of manufacturing strategies,
    business management and operations for the facility.
  • Manage / improve daily facility operational reporting; timeliness, accuracy and content
  • Ensure product planning activities are thorough and coordinated effectively with sales, purchasing
    and logistics.
  • Hire, train and develop staff as required to support the business plan. Provide for the personal and
    professional growth of staff through coaching, feedback and opportunity.
  • Foster a manufacturing environment that promotes teamwork and cohesive action. Develop a
    cooperative approach to problem solving and issue resolution with all employees. Ensure that
    issues or concerns are addressed in a timely, objective and professional manner.
  • Develop and administer the manufacturing facilities annual operating budget and ensure that
    the various reporting departments incorporated in the budget maintain compliance with their
    approved annual operating plan.
  • Maintain customer, market and product knowledge; understand and prepare operations for
    product line changes as required to meet customer and market needs.
  • Be accountable for capital programs and best practices regarding quality, occupational health,
    safety, environmental and compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects including lean manufacturing and 5S, and other cost
    reduction techniques for improved efficiencies.
  • Support / facilitate propagation of individual plant improvements across entire network to
    maximize impact.


QUALIFICATIONS (must have):

  • 10 to 15 years of operations experience with at least ten years of experience in the management
    of manufacturing operations
  • Bachelors degree required; prefer Engineering degree with MBA or experience running a small
    business
  • Thorough understanding of financial measurements and goals. Prior P&L responsibility required
  • Position located in the Lexington, KY area
  • Travel to satellite facilities required

QUALIFICATIONS (beneficial):

  • Knowledge / experience in plastics manufacturing and recycling industries
  • Experience in lean manufacturing and 5S
