Responsibilities

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director facilitates the process of creating and maintaining a diverse workforce by adopting and installing a system-wide proactive view of diversity, which is designed to promote valuing diversity and driving inclusive behaviors throughout the organization.

Partner with key stakeholders across the company to promote and advance a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture. Lead through influence to drive cultural and behavior change across the organization to increase diversity, advance organizational equity and foster inclusion. Champion awareness, understanding, allyship, and advocacy for anti-racism, social justice, and advancement of underrepresented groups.
  • Contribute to the development and lead execution of the overall DEI strategy at an enterprise level
  • Serve as an internal Diversity Consultant to key executive leaders and human resources providing expertise and support in the development, implementation and monitoring of diversity programs. Serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Council
  • Represent, communicate, and drive our marketplace strategy with the goal of leveraging our DEI efforts to create opportunities to serve more patients and families


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree in relevant field or 6 years of related work experience
  • 5 yrs experience designing, developing, and leading the execution of measurable and scalable Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs to all levels of employees throughout an organization
  • Experience in leading Employee Resource Groups and DEI Leadership Education.
  • Knowledge of and experience with needs assessment, strategy, coalition building, change management and implementation of creative approaches
  • A fundamental understanding of issues and challenges related to race and other diverse groups
  • Successful experience working closely with senior level leaders
  • Persuasive communicator and framer of information
  • Strong focus on metrics and measuring success
  • Cultural intelligence and technical mastery of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy
