This position plays an integral role in the functional development, creating global standards, support and maintenance of WBDs enterprise resource planning systems. The successful holder of this position will have accounting, project management and technical knowledge to work with diverse finance and technology teams across a wide variety of topics. The holder will be the single point of contact and functional owner for programs liaising with IT, external consultants and finance workstreams, leading all phases including planning, development, execution and post implementation support.


What you will be doing:
  • This Finance position plays an integral role contributing to the functional design, build, testing and ongoing support of WBDs S4 ERP Reporting. The successful holder of this position will have a combination of accounting, project management and general system knowledge to work with diverse finance and technology teams across a wide variety of financial and ERP topics. The holder will be the single point of contact and functional owner for programs liaising with IT, external consultants and finance workstreams, leading functional ERP Global Template ownership to driving consistency and delivery across lines of business and regions.
  • Manage Finance Release specific delivery areas, where necessary, including ownership of risks, actions, issues, decisions, escalation responsibility, removing impediments to progress and working with project leadership to develop a path to green
  • Coordinate with diverse group of business, technical, finance and consulting teams to develop and deliver functional solutions for accounting, reporting and data integration, providing effective reporting and communication throughout project lifecycles to divisional stakeholders and executive project sponsors
  • Perform lead finance role in other non-S4 ERP project development from initiation, planning and requirements gathering through execution and closure. This includes engaging external consultants (where applicable), determining budgets and timelines, managing indirect reporting lines / cross functional teams and their deliverables, organization change management and communications, where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain the Finance Systems global roadmap partnering with Product Owners, ensuring the selection of tools and the prioritization of enhancements that provide the greatest business opportunities and create the most business value.
  • Oversee the ongoing finance administration and support of WBDs S4 ERP reporting systems. This may include oversight of master data maintenance, mapping from old to new systems, testing, control and training while managing a team of finance functional support for a large user base.
  • Monitor industry for best practices, trends and product enhancements and proactively identify opportunities to improve routine finance processes and systems

What you need to have:
  • Leadership positions in finance, finance systems projects and transformation / process improvement initiatives
  • Proven finance user experience with SAP in process areas and modules that cover month end close / reporting, GL, FX and Corporate Consolidations.
  • Previous experience with full ERP life cycle software implementation including program and project management, functional requirements, design, implementation, data migration, testing, training, go-live support, and issue resolution.
  • Accounting, Finance, Reporting background

Its a plus if you have:
  • Experience with intermediate accounting principles
  • Previous experience with SAP S4 HANA

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discoverys total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $148,750 -$276,250 salary per year.

Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
