Position Summary:

The Continuous Improvement Manager (six sigma black belt) is a change agent for product and process quality improvements. They work as business partners with the various EverDriven departments to meet and exceed department goals. They are responsible for identifying opportunities to deploy Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma tools and methods across the organization. They manage risk, set direction, and lead the way to achieve breakthrough improvements in quality.

In this role they will be responsible for managing complex, enterprise-wide initiatives to accomplish strategic organizational priorities. Expectations of the role include orchestrating and facilitating a supportive environment for cross-departmental teams to deliver desired outcomes. They will collaborate with business sponsors, product owners, other business and technology leaders, and teams of subject matter experts to ensure broad organizational readiness, effective risk management, and transparent and timely communications with stakeholders. This role actively partners with operations leadership to advance the project management practice, craft and deploy standard operating procedures, and champions agile and lean project management to improve enterprise agility.

Salary Range: 117k-127k/year, depending on experience

Office Location: Greenwood Village, CO - hybrid schedule

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Facilitate working agreement and commitment to shared objectives with team of subject matter experts, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
  • Lead Continuous Process Improvement efforts at EverDriven in coordination with department leaders
  • Apply established best-practices while working lean (eliminating waste), using strategies best-suited to the situational need, and being resilient and adaptable.
  • Facilitate and support cross-departmental teams in aligning to deliver on desired outcomes.
  • Support and/or create ways of working that enable the most effective, efficient and expeditious execution and resulting impact.
  • Facilitate effective risk and issue management, to ensure challenges are anticipated and appropriate actions are taken.
  • Lead change by demonstrating successful application of new tools and methods to improve product and process quality.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Product, Training, and Operations functions to ensure delivery of high-quality, effective, and timely training
  • Detect both obstacles and opportunities and respond to them as quickly as possible to produce desired outcomes.
  • Build and maintain communication channels and methods to provide updates on progress to internal stakeholders timely and succinctly.
  • Leverage data and other assessment mechanisms to facilitate enterprise level transparency and insights that are delivered in a consumable and meaningful format.
  • Manage project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Effectively communicate to ensure stakeholders are aware of any project delays heading into key milestones.

Leadership

  • Continually improve workflow and maximize efficiency by eliminating impediments to organizational readiness.
  • Guide, navigate and support teams if initiatives are forced to adjust due to resource or priority changes.
  • Turn troubled projects around and bring in appropriate resources as needed.
  • Champion agile and lean project management practices and make continuous improvement a priority.
  • Actively engage in approaches to enabling enterprise capabilities to deliver value incrementally, optimize throughput, and improve time to market.
  • Lead projects from start to finish with an emphasis on quality and delivering on time.
  • Leverages relationships cross-department to accomplish project and organizational goals.


Requirements:

  • Required - Black Belt Six Sigma
  • 5+ years of project management experience within operations units. Application of agile methodologies required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead large-scale initiatives through collaboration with internal departments.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Strong ability to work in a time sensitive environment while managing multiple, large-scale initiatives.
  • Demonstration of engagement, flexibility, innovation, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
