As a member of the US Value & Access team, the Senior Manager reports into the Director of Patient Access. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing Access tools and resources to support the Inflammation Business Unit (INBU). This role will also be accountable for development and implementation of Access tools and resources for the field and consumers. The Marketing Senior Manager will lead the strategy, tactics and operations of the Inflammation Patient Access team. This position will also help cultivate a culture of continuous improvement grounded in patient centricity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Inflammation PSP in partnership with the brand and USV&A access strategy to ensure agreement and continuity in delivering patient access support
  • Align insights (data, market research, etc.) to better inform strategy
  • Develop Enbrel Access strategy in coordination with the brands to ensure alignment and patient needs are being met
  • Align Enbrel program development and PSP implementation to the brand goals with the team as well as continuous tracking of activities
  • Responsible for strategy, messaging, creative development and roll-out of brand planning materials and resources
  • Manage budget development and monitor performance
  • Work cross-functionally with other business units as well as internal partners to ensure maintenance of Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standards
  • Communicate PSP Key Performance Indicators to Brand teams to inform PSP performance in support of brand performance
  • Lead MAC approval of all Enbrel access-related materials
  • Collaborate with Inflammation [Payer] leads to provide guidance on payer strategy Communicate Enbrel data analytics workstream, ensuring data are accurate and streamlined. This will include budget, forecasts, insights and advisory board to appropriately and efficiently demonstrate PSP needs and patient impact


Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of biotech/biopharma experience including some combination of customer experience, commercial, product management and/or customer support and solutions
  • Confidence in working with staff at all levels
  • Demonstrated self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects
  • Experience leading or being part of a cross-functional project team
  • Experience working with key internal or external partners, establishing, communicating and managing teams to timelines and project targets
  • Advanced skills and familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively present information
  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex project issues
  • Strong project management skills. Lead and manage projects from concept to completion in a matrix and, at times, ambiguous environment
