Our property team members focus on bringing our business to life at each of our buildings with a focus on execution, and resident and guest experience. Our non-property team members focus on supporting property execution and the evolution of the other areas of the platform. The non-property roles are remote-first with the option to work out of our DC or SF offices. We think in-person collaboration and bonding is extremely important, so our remote-first team members participate in quarterly in-person retreats with their teams at various locations across the U.S.

The Paid Media Strategist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple digital marketing channels. This position will work with the brand and marketing team to execute paid search, display, and social advertising strategies across multiple brands for both our B2B and B2C audiences. This includes keyword research and management, analytics and tracking, campaign implementation, bid and budget management, landing page performance analysis, and campaign reporting.

Who you are

  • You're a paid media manager well versed in paid media strategy and execution for B2B and B2C audiences.
  • You know the ins and outs of each paid channel allowing you to leverage it most effectively to achieve company goals.
  • You are a pro at Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (important that you know GA4, we've fully switched from Universal to GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google My Business, Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid channels.
  • You're experienced with setting up conversion tracking and reporting.
  • You're a data nerd, constantly evaluating metrics in GA4 and Data Studio to optimize campaign performance.
  • You're always creating insightful, actionable, and accurate insights for marketing strategies and reports with minimal support.
  • You have a knack for presenting data and insights in a way that is logical, clear, and actionable.
  • You love to learn, are a team player, have a strong analytical background, are detail-oriented, highly organized, and have a keen eye for consistency.


  • Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns across multiple media channels paid search, display, video, and social platforms.
  • Manage all aspects of campaign configuration, launch, and ongoing optimization including strategy, data-based optimization, budget/billing management, and ad trafficking.
  • Assist creative team with ad creation through performance data and strategic direction.
  • Identify optimization opportunities, including continuous testing of ad copy and landing pages, including A/B testing.
  • Ensure campaigns are meeting clearly defined conversion objectives.
  • Create and deliver meaningful analytics and reporting to monitor and show performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
  • Implement conversion tracking with multiple ad platforms utilizing Google Tag Manager (must be able to do this yourself)
  • QA tags are implemented and ensure the data is passing between various ad and analytic platforms to ensure we are tracking towards our goals
  • Build reports in Google Analytics and Google Ads to constantly keep track of our digital marketing performance
  • Build Data Studio Reports to bubble up information between multiple platforms and to report up to management about digital marketing progress
