What Youll Do:

The Discovery Education Partner Success Coordinator team seeks a high energy, high potential individual to develop customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty. Their job is to work closely with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the services they receive and to improve upon areas of dissatisfaction. PSC will manage ongoing customer relationships at scale to ensure long-term customer success with Discovery Education services while ensuring activities and communication are properly documented. Theyll be involved in all aspects of support, account management, demonstrating the product, educating customers and more

The Partner Success Coordinator (PSC) is a member of our Inside PS Team based in Charlotte, NC. The PSC supports school and district stakeholders virtually (via phone, web-based conferencing, and other tools) to define goals and metrics for success in order to inform strategic plans. As needs change from the field, the PSC will work with the Partner Success Leadership team to prioritize responsibilities and support accounts accordingly.

  • Understand customer outcomes/goals by communicating with customers, and analyzing customer health metrics
  • Serve as the primary contact for the onboarding of new customers
  • Maintain accurate/timely records within CRM tools of business development activities and coordinate development reports and outreach dashboards regarding all prospective partner activities.
  • Appropriately and pro-actively merchandise the success of Discovery Educations existing partnerships with organizations and school districts.
  • Proactively maintain a thorough understanding of Discovery Educations overall goals and strategic vision for the future of education, and the private sectors role within the mission to reimagine teaching and learning.
  • Collaboratively establish structured rollout plans including user management, Professional learning support with their direct reports
  • Identify jeopardy accounts due to persistent technical or account issues and escalate, providing recommended course of action to restore customer satisfaction
  • Execute renewal process to ensure timely retention of business
  • Additional projects and responsibilities to be assigned as needed
  • Travel Seasonal Approximately 5-10%

Who You Are:

The perfect candidate for this role will possess a proven track record of revenue generation and quota attainment in complex, solutions sales (products and services) selling to a variety of decision makers. She/he will also have strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational and verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload. She/he will possess a growth mindset and team-oriented character

  • Professional Experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer success, account management, and/or sales with a proven track record of territory management, consultative sales and exceptional client relations
  • Knowledge & Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational and verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
    • Possess a growth mindset and team-oriented character - motivated by helping others succeed as much as individual success.
    • Proven track record of success.
  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Technical Skills:
    • Suite of Microsoft Office, CRM/Salesforce preferred, Gainsight, Vidyard
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-Motivation and Self-Starter: Driven self-starter with the ability to do what needs to be done without being micromanaged; ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks, proactively manage numerous projects, and prioritize competing timelines; demonstrate a problem solving/ solution-oriented approach
  • Learning Orientation: Always willing to learn something new, not rigid in beliefs or expectations
  • Focus on Diversity: Have a demonstrated ability to understand, accept and engage with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Sense of Humor: Because we all need to laugh sometimes
  • Flexibility/Travel: Candidate must be willing to travel (5-10%) Seasonal travel will vary
