Hiring Range: $33,716.80 - $42,848.00/Year D.O.Q.

Port Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team! This position will coordinate activities involved in procuring goods and services for PCCA staff and maintain inventory controls by covering a broad range of functions, while providing support to the Procurement Department, under direct supervision of the Director of Procurement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for PCCA inventory desk in the Port Administration Building
  • Processes supply requests for goods and/or services from PCCA staff
  • Creates requisitions
  • Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
  • Data entry and filing paperwork

CANDIDATE PROFILE
The preferred candidate for this position should be an organized, thorough, and disciplined individual with a focus on maintaining optimal integrity in support of the PCCA. They must possess the following:

EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
  • High school diploma or equivalent; two years inventory or accounts payable experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) during course of employment
  • Valid driver's license

EXPERIENCE & JOB KNOWLEDGE
  • Effective business communication (written and verbally), utilizing correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Maintain good employee relations and encourages and fosters a helpful environment where teamwork prevails
