Loyola University Maryland invites applications for a high-level Grant Program Administrator overseeing a $1.45 million dollar, three-year grant awarded by the John Templeton Foundation titled Building Foundations in Science-Engaged Theology: Insights from Philosophy of Science.
The project manager position will run the day-to-day logistics and communications related to the grant, including: creating and implementing the spending plan, tracking expenses, creating progress and financial reports, developing marketing and communication materials and administration surrounding summer seminar and awards processes, event planning for the seminars, managing the website, tracking project timelines, and assisting with contracts, logistics, and arrangements for the seminar speakers. The grant manager will be onsite for each summer seminar providing logistical support.

Serve as the project manager for the research project titled, Building Foundations in Science-Engaged Theology: Insights from Philosophy of Science This support will include:
Track, reconcile, and submit financial reports for grant funds
Research and analyze spending options and create an annual spending plan
Oversee the dispensation of honoraria for project fellows and reimbursements for project team
Oversee event planning, coordination, and communication for three seminar events
Oversee the applications, judging, and awarding of project awards
Track project timeline and deliverables
Develop and publicize written communication, marketing materials and web content
Manage project website, including the coordination of website contractor(s)
Handle daily logistics of the project, including e-mail and phone inquiries
Any other projects and duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor

.A bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of applicable professional experience and
Experience in project management
Specific experience in event planning and coordination
Experience in budget management
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Teams
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to deal warmly, professionally, and effectively with
people both on the phone and in person
Eager to learn new skills; grow professionally in a collaborative relationship
Self-initiator, energetic, motivated
The ability to use initiative and judgment to prioritize a range of complex tasks and
competing demands under pressure.
Creativity in problem-solving and trouble-shooting
Ability to work evenings and weekends for hosting and special events, and ability to travel 2-4 weeks per year, primarily in the summer
Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is required
