LPA is seeking a passionate Project Architect to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners in our education practice. As a key participant in our uniquely collaborative design process, you will work hand in hand with clients and colleagues across disciplines on a wide variety of innovative, sustainable projects in our civic + cultural or commercial teams.

You will be working with directors and principals in the studio and across the firm. We are looking to you to help us continue to develop our talented designers and engineers.

What you will do:

  • You will be living and breathing the project from inception to completion and be able to turn your hand to all aspects of the project.
  • Lead the project design and documentation process with your team of designers and engineers.
  • Work in unison with the Project Designer and Project Manager and lead the realization of the project.
  • Prepare documentation for schematic design, design development and construction documents
  • Quality control research for product and construction methods related to projects
  • Lead the construction administration process
  • Mentor your team members and help to train and upskill them.

Project Architect Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture required
  • 10+ years of experience in all phases of architectural projects
  • Architectural license required
  • Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • Strong technical, code and detailing skills for quality documentation
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
  • Proactive written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable to support both, management and design
