Job Description:

The Project Manager will manage the day-to-day operations for a new global scholarship program for international students from the Gulf region in the arts, culture, and humanities. The Project Manager will leverage their expertise in university admissions counseling and scholarship program management to coordinate with internal teams across the organization to accomplish program deliverables and achieve KPIs. The Project Manager will serve as the primary contact with subcontractors, establish processes for collaboration, and monitor subcontractor performance. The Project Manager will support the Program Director in managing the relationship with the client, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

THIS ROLE IS CONTIGENT ON FUNDING

Essential Functions:
Conducts virtual orientations for incoming students to inform them about program expectations, duration and related topics.
Organizes group advising sessions and presentations.
Serves as a liaison with sub-contractor to review students' language training progress and preparedness for university admission.
Provides support to the placement team to ensure they receive all information and documents relevant to the admission process.
Contributes to administrative process development and improvement.
Analyzes data and develops regular reports for delivery to the Program Director, partners and client.
Manages targeted data clean up campaigns to maintain data integrity. Provides knowledge on data management, and reporting to other teams to maximize efficient delivery of programs.
Develops tools to support placement team including document collection.
Develops reporting templates and output in line with program requirements and sponsor expectations. Works closely with the team on cross-functional deliverables, schedules, and processes for reporting/deliverable production.
Analyzes reporting strategies and provides recommendations to maximize efficiencies as part of the continual improvement cycle.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in order to apply a working knowledge of the theories and principles in a specialized field or work discipline.
Requires at least five years of related work experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Experience managing projects and tasks involving complex details which require well-developed organizational, time-management and administrative skills.
Demonstrated experience working with complex databases on data integrity, analysis of large data sets and reporting.
Knowledge of and experience in university admissions and/or advising, strongly preferred.
Knowledge of higher education systems in the United States and abroad, strongly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to interact with all levels of team members and external contacts; sensitive to cultural differences when working with people from other cultures; and ability to exercise discretion on confidential matters and to demonstrate sound judgment in consulting with and keeping others informed.
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, constantly-evolving environments.
Expertise with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
