ARC is searching for a Security Assessment and Response Engineer to join our team! This is an opportuniy to create innovative programs to support confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and systems. Operationalize strategic security programs by making them efficient, scalable, and reliable. Develop, implement and iterate on program management procedures, frameworks, and metrics to achieve business goals and defined success criteria. Enable security to be a trusted partner. Interact with peers in the Business Technology division as well as with the leaders from across the business to both share the corporate security vision and to solicit their involvement in achieving higher levels of security through information sharing and cooperation. Report on program health and success metrics.

What You'll Get to Do:

  1. Maintain a roadmap for the Information Security Engineering program and lead efforts to mature and evolve it over time.
  2. Assist in setting the information security methodology, implementation standards, and tactics. Evolve programs over time to achieve desired results and conduct compliance assessments to evaluate design controls and mitigate risk.
  3. Coordinate security related activities between application, data, infrastructure and security architects and engineers. Lead product and operational workstreams through the threat modeling process ensuring risks are understood and navigated as early as possible in the development cycle. Arm workstreams with information to understand how the program can impact and enable them with effective mitigation strategies.
  4. Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers and other systems and in databases and other data repositories.
  5. Ensure the enterprise security and implementation strategies are aligned with ARC's business strategy. Provide input to technical designs in enterprise security solutions, specifically around tools and systems that would best support the design.
  6. Recommend improvements to company's security posture through technological, administrative, or physical controls. Work with project teams regarding security architecture and technical implementation.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered
  • At least 6 years of experience in positions with a focus on technology, infrastructure, engineering, architecture and security.
  • Experience in enterprise security engineering, design and implementation
  • Proficient with cloud security, SASE, SIEMs, XDR, PAM, EDR, intrusion prevention, encryption, and software development
  • Translate business objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic), lead and successful execute the strategy through strong collaboration and agile leadership.
  • Superior analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong influencing skills with an ability to motivate and drive others towards the same goal.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Manage follow-up on open issues, and work with management to ensure closure of action plans.
  • Outstanding detail-oriented organization skills.
