The Advancement division at Dartmouth is searching for a key partner to join our Recognition & Stewardship team as Stewardship Writer, to advance Dartmouth's fundraising efforts by fostering a culture of donor-focused stewardship and relationship building. Our new colleague will draft correspondence and other stewardship materials to facilitate timely and impactful communications with donors and prospects. Grounded in data and technology, our stewardship work is a collaborative process in which our colleague can be creative and write in multiple voices to support our mission.

Our successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree or the equivalent in education and experience, with at least five years of experience in executive-level communication and writing in a higher education or non-profit environment. Top notch editing and proofreading skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to develop engaging content for letters and other donor-focused documents will help our new colleague find success on our team. A collaborative nature with strong skills in project management, communications, research, and technology will all be necessary in this important role. Our work finds us responding to the needs and current thinking of our colleagues, donors, and volunteers, and a level of tact and sensitivity will be critical.

This is a great opportunity to join a talented team of stewardship professionals to help Dartmouth express gratitude to our donors and volunteers through the power of the written word.
