SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Talent and Workforce Management Lead will be responsible for creating and driving organizational-wide improvement activities and increasing workforce engagement. This position will support all levels of the organization in developing, implementing, monitoring, and assessing organizational health and culture, workforce development, recruitment, and relevant training and workshops. Areas of direct responsibility include talent recruitment, staff alignment to appropriate roles in a new organization, corporate culture, organizational health, employee engagement, professional development, and training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs, leads, and implements organizational development, change management, employee engagement strategies, and processes aligned with the organizational strategic plan.
  • Leads and implements the following initiatives and/or programs: organizational culture strategy, employee engagement, professional development/training, and performance management.
  • Designs, executes and evaluates key programmatic elements of assigned programs, and the implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies tailored to meet organizational changes, needs, and program goals/objectives.
  • Provides expert facilitation, coaching, and consultation to a range of leaders, supervisors, and employees regarding assigned program/initiative methods, tools, and strategies.
  • Consult and advise HR leaders and HR colleagues in developing options for organizing work and people through structure, roles, processes, governance practices and culture to optimize business performance
  • Work closely with HR leaders and teams on strategies that maximize employee engagement and facilitate a culture that maximizes organizational productivity and accountability
  • Collaborates with a variety of internal and external entities to identify, anticipate, and provide training needs based on organizational initiatives, legal and regulatory changes, career development needs, and other identified factors.
  • Conducts training for instructors and supervisors on techniques and skills to manage and develop employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Coordinates and assigns mandatory training across the organization.
  • Supervises, coaches and develops staff to assist with meeting goals and objectives
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is contingent upon award with an anticipated start date in July 2020.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in organizational development/organizational behavior, human resources or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience leading work in the areas of employee engagement, training/professional development, organizational development, and performance management systems and support within diverse organizations.
  • Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in organizational development, human resources or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Gallup Strengths Finder, Leadership 2.0, and Emotional Intelligence coach and facilitator certification preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
  • Secret clearance preferred.

LOCATION:

Telework during COVID; El Segundo when the client re-opens. Opportunities for full-time work in the National Capital Region or travel to the client site as needed.
