This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Digital Enablement and will be responsible for improving the overall user experience on MSAs global web platform and other digital properties. This includes the creation and implementation of enhanced content such as landing pages on MSAsafety.com and participation in user experience testing initiatives to ensure that CX is a key driver in identifying improvements. The UX Designer also serves as marketings resident expert in HTML, CSS and Javascript.



Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements landing pages, banners and other specialized content
  • Integrates digital assets developed by external resources into existing web properties
  • Assists in the monitoring, analysis and enhancement of web content and presentation
  • Supports improvements to user interface of MSAsafety.com and other web properties
  • Consults stakeholders to identify and define business requirements
  • Works with internal and external resources to execute projects
  • Ensures projects are following defined scope of work, including budget allocations
  • Supports scheduled technical releases via quality assurance and validation testing
  • Executes user experience tests using survey and other external software platforms
  • Evaluates customer feedback to identify user experience testing opportunities
  • Acts as MSAs resident expert on web design trends
  • Answers questions and provides recommendations for user interface development
  • Brings new ideas, technologies, and best practices to the team on a regular basis


Qualifications

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, IT or related discipline
    • 4 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years web design or user interface development experience
    • MBA or related degree may be substitituted for up to 2 years of experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with user experience testing platforms
  • Experience with marketing automation systems
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Ability to fluently speak a foreign language
