Description The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Workday Human Capital Management system. This position serves as a point of contact and subject matter expert for functional areas within the HCM system, such as Core HR, Reporting, , Payroll / Time, Recruiting Management, EIB Uploads and User Security.
- Configure and maintain Workday Core Tenant and Business functionality including business processes, custom objects, calculated fields, notifications, custom organizations, organizational hierarchies and other configuration as needed
- Lead configuration and maintenance for Workday reporting including calculated fields, advanced composite and matrix reporting, dashboards, etc.
- Support HCM upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned
- Support business process security, domain security
- Diagnose / resolve end-user, business process and security issues and create job aids for users
- Monitor / support inbound/outbound Workday HCM integrations to third party vendors
- Develop, prepare and load data via upload templates (EIBs) including development of processes and procedures for new, repetitive, or one time data loads
- SME for Workday Security Group configuration, audits, and updates
- Support business requests for ad hoc report generation
- Understanding of object-oriented architecture collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information
- Ensure data integrity, testing, changes, and analyze data flows for process improvement
- Develop and maintain documentation of HR systems business processes
- Perform data audits building end-user alerts for notifications for data irregularities
- Assist with the Business Process Regression testing, modify/create test scripts
- Analyze errors and utilize resources such as Workday community to drive resolutions and identify root cause
- Develop project and test plans for upgrades/new functionality
Requirements - Strong knowledge of Workday domains
- Experience in data structures, business processes, security and reporting areas
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams
- 5+ years of related experience configuring and supporting Workday
- BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
